Maureen Pua'ena O'Shaughnessy was born and raised in Nanaimo, on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. She has lived in Hawaii since 1979 and is a graduate of the University of Hawaii.

Maureen Pua’ena O’Shaughnessy is a Reiki Master in the Usui Shiki Ryoho tradition, and is a member of The Reiki Alliance.  She began her work with Reiki in 1991, and was initiated as a Reiki Master in 1995 by Reiki Master Jessica Osborn-Turner. She teaches Reiki full time, traveling between Hawaii, the mainland U.S. and Canada. She teaches classes regularly in Honolulu, has been a guest speaker for many organizations and has appeared on numerous Radio and TV shows.

In June 2002 Maureen was ordained as a minister with the Universal Brotherhood Movement and performs weddings, house blessings and other celebratory ceremonies. For more information, "click here."
