Reiki means "universal life force energy" ...
the power of the universe that flows through every living thing. The purpose of Reiki is to activate and accelerate the flow of this energy. The benefits of the increased energy flow are numerous:

as well as healing of both acute and chronic conditions and an increased ability to fulfill one's potential.

Reiki is based on ancient knowledge and was rediscovered in Japan around the turn of the century. Reiki requires no particular dogma or belief system.

The First Degree Reiki course covers the benefits and uses of Reiki, the history and origin of Reiki as well as instruction on using Reiki for one's self and others. The class is highly experiential and includes four individual energy initiations. Only a Reiki Master can perform these initiations that begin the evolutionary process. Upon completion of the course the student will receive a certificate as a Reiki Practitioner.

Once someone has completed the First Degree Course, they are able to use the Reiki energy for themselves and others for the rest of their lives. For those that want advanced training, an optional 2nd Degree course includes another personal initiation, learning the esoteric symbols and how to do distance healing.

 

REIKI TREATMENTS

The basis of the practice of Reiki are hands-on treatments, where the recipient, fully clothed, lies down comfortably and the Reiki practitioner places their hands in various positions.  The recipient generally experiences deep relaxation, and often will feel heat or other sensations from the practitioner's hands.

Reiki treatments are available by appointment in Pearl City or Kahala, Honolulu.

RATES: $75 per one hour treatment; $240 for a series of 4 consecutive treatments. Travel to other Oahu locations, $25 additional.

Distance treatments (Reiki done remotely) $50 per appointment.
